2025 International Electronic Circuit Exhibition (Shenzhen): The PCB Industry’s Premier Gathering

Shenzhen Qixingyuan Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. Set to Shine at the 2025 International Electronic Circuit Exhibition

A Legacy and Innovation of Electronic Circuit Exhibition

In the fast-paced world of electronics manufacturing, the 2025 International Electronic Circuit Exhibition in Shenzhen stands out as a must-attend event for anyone in the PCB (printed circuit board) sector. Officially known as the HKPCA & IPC Show, this expo has evolved into a global benchmark for PCB innovation and networking. Its roots go back to 1993, when the Hong Kong Printed Circuit Association (HKPCA) organized a modest local gathering to foster knowledge sharing among circuit board professionals. As China’s electronics boom—particularly in Shenzhen—took off in the late 1990s, the event grew exponentially. By 2000, it partnered with the IPC—International Printed Circuit Association—for international standards and reach, and later joined forces with the China Electronic Circuit Industry Association (CPCA) to tap into the mainland market. Now in its 32nd edition, the 2025 show promises to be bigger than ever, spanning over 50,000 square meters at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, drawing more than 800 exhibitors and tens of thousands of attendees from around the world.

Cutting-Edge Exhibits: Equipment and Technologies

At its heart, the expo covers the entire PCB ecosystem, from conceptualization and fabrication to testing and end-use integration. Expect a dazzling array of equipment and technologies tailored to modern demands like 5G, AI, and electric vehicles. Manufacturing gear takes center stage: think precision laser drilling machines from Schmoll in Germany, capable of micron-level accuracy for blind vias; or automated optical inspection (AOI) systems from Orbotech in Japan, which use AI to spot defects in real-time during high-volume runs. Layer stacking and lamination tools will showcase multi-layer presses handling up to 100 layers with impedance control for high-speed signals. On the materials front, visitors will find advanced substrates like low-loss laminates from Rogers Corporation and copper foils optimized for thermal dissipation in data centers. Software demos will highlight design suites such as Altium’s latest, simulating electromagnetic interference to catch issues early in the prototype phase.

Industry Leaders: Exhibitors and Organizers

The lineup of PCB manufacturers is a who’s who of the industry, blending global heavyweights with agile innovators. U.S.-based TTM Technologies will flaunt its rugged boards for aerospace and defense, built to IPC Class 3 standards. Taiwanese powerhouses like Unimicron and Compeq will demo flexible and rigid-flex circuits essential for wearables and foldable phones, with HDI (high-density interconnect) densities pushing 20+ layers. Chinese firms shine brightly too—Avary Holding andShennan Circuits plan to unveil mass-produced panels for 5G antennas and server backplanes, emphasizing cost-effective scaling. Smaller players, such as those pioneering 3D-printed prototypes or eco-friendly halogen-free boards, add fresh perspectives. Behind the scenes, organizers HKPCA, IPC, and CPCA ensure a seamless blend of education and commerce. HKPCA drives sustainability initiatives, like recycling programs for fab waste; IPC enforces quality benchmarks through certifications; and CPCA aligns the show with China’s “Made in China 2025” push, making it a bridge between East and West.

Strategic Advantages: Benefits for Attendees

Professionals attending the expo stand to gain substantial value that extends well beyond mere observation. Equipment manufacturers and component suppliers may have the opportunity to directly connect with representatives of foreign companies, thereby optimizing product transaction channels. The event’s structured matchmaking platform facilitates targeted connections between buyers and suppliers, often leading to formalized agreements on site. Historical data from prior shows indicate that transactions exceeding $1 billion have been initiated here, with numerous participants securing a significant portion—sometimes 25%—of their yearly procurement commitments during the event.

Immersive Insights: What You’ll Discover

What you’ll witness ties directly to the industry’s hottest threads: reliability under extreme conditions, miniaturization for edge computing, and green manufacturing to meet EU RoHS updates. Dive into zones like the “AI-Driven PCB Forum,” where live demos reveal X-ray tomography uncovering hidden cracks in BGA solder joints, or thermal imaging cams mapping hotspots in EV battery controllers. Hands-on sessions let you tweak parameters on virtual fab lines, testing how via-in-pad designs affect signal loss. Parallel seminars, co-hosted by HKPCA and IPC, unpack gems like the IPC-6012DS aerospace addendum or glass-core substrates for sub-1mm pitches—insights that could save your team months of R&D. Attendees often rave about the diversity: 40% procurement pros from firms like Huawei and Foxconn, 30% designers from Qualcomm partners, all mingling in Shenzhen’s electric vibe. From dawn meetups over congee to evening mixers with craft beers, it’s a recharge that sparks collaborations—like that cross-border JV on quantum-safe encryption boards born at last year’s afterparty.

In essence, the 2025 expo isn’t a spectator sport; it’s a strategic pit stop that equips you to outpace rivals. It demystifies tech frontiers, fortifies your network, and delivers tangible ROI, transforming “what if” into “watch this.”

What to Expect from Qixingyuan at the Show

Qixingyuan

At Qixingyuan, we have stuck to helping the PCB world since we started in 2011. We began as a tiny shop for parts in Shenzhen. Now, we make things fully, with a big push on research and custom work. Joining this show fits right into our path to grow around the world. It comes after big steps, like starting our own air knife line in 2015. And setting up our trade side for other countries in 2022.

You can spot us at hall. Our group will be there to show our wide set of PCB horizontal line equipment add-ons. Here comes a quick look at what we plan to point out.

Brush Rollers, or Grinding Brushes, come from us with thick nylon parts. They clean well and take off oxide without hurting PCB faces. You can change their length and thread size. They fit best for early steps and etching jobs.

Absorbent Sponge Rollers use stuff like PVA, PP, EPDM, and PU. These give great water soak-up and bounce back. They suit drying parts. They stop rust and cut down power use in fast lines.

Water-Retaining Rubber Rollers get made from bendy, rust-proof stuff like rubber, PVC, or Teflon. These stop splashes in spray and print phases. They keep work clean and make tools last longer.

Wheel Discs and Gears range from hard plastic ones in PP, PE, PVDF for steady moving. To soft covered kinds for taking shocks. Plus many gears like spur, bevel, helical in strong plastic. All can get changed to match your moving needs.

Air Knives from us include choices like PVC, aluminum mix, stainless steel, and titanium. They work for drying, dust wipe, or air walls. You can shape them to your setup. They handle fans and air pumps.

Filtration Accessories and More cover filter holders to pull out dirt in clean and etch loops. Plus moving bits like spacer covers, lock covers, and plastic holders.

We see this event as more than a show. It acts as a spot to learn from others. We might pick up new ideas that shape our next items. For buyers, it means seeing our parts in action. They can touch and ask about how they fit their own lines. We plan to hold small talks at our booth. These will cover common pains in PCB making and our simple fixes. Think about wet process snags, like keeping clean without harm. Our team brings years of know-how to these chats. We aim to leave guests with real tips they can use right away. In past shows, such links led to long team-ups. We hope for the same here. It all ties back to our start as a small shop. We grew by listening and fixing real needs. This show lets us keep that up on a bigger stage.
