Fan-shape Nozzle

A fan nozzle forms a flat spray sheet instead of a circular cone. This makes it useful for treating a strip of surface area, such as a board path, panel edge or process zone where nozzle spacing can be arranged to overlap evenly.

In PCB wet-process equipment, fan-pattern nozzles are commonly used for cleaning, rinsing, developing, etching or coating positions when liquid needs to cover a board width rather than one local point. The actual liquid and line layout determine the installed process role.

Fan angle, flow at working pressure, outlet size, nozzle material and connection form determine coverage width, overlap and replacement fit.
